Above is a small selection of portraits that I created. Most of these images were produced to accompany an article of some kind. Due to the nature of this editorial style of portraiture I rarely have the luxury of working in a studio. Im more likely to find myself in a busy hotel suite filled with entourage or worse still a bland corporate office belonging to their agent. I'm no stranger to moving photocopiers or wheelie bins in order to create a nice backdrop.
Time is often critical when shooting this type of portrait so learning to work quickly & efficiently becomes second nature. I often find myself at the end of an interview with literally seconds to create a portrait.
